Allstar Expectations

Arovista Behavior Expectations

Management: If your child does not follow the classroom or playground behavior expectations, you will know that afternoon when he or she brings home a "Behavior Reflection" for you to sign and return with the child the following day. The form will tell you which expectation was not met and the consequence received. I always have a discussion with the student about the choice that he or she made, why it was inappropriate, and how to handle the situation better next time.

Positive Reinforcement: I verbally reward students for appropriate behavior throughout the day. I reward students individually, as a team, and as a class. If I “catch” your child in the act of doing something great, he/she will get a reward: verbal praise/recognition, an Allstar ticket, a privilege, a small prize, etc.
