Character Education

Arovista Elementary's core values, as a component of our Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) program, center around the Six Pillars of Character: CARING. FAIRNESS. RESPECT. RESPONSIBILITY. TRUSTWORTHINESS. CITIZENSHIP. 

 

The Six Pillars are ethical values to guide decision-making.  The standards of conduct that arise out of those values constitute the ground rules of ethics, and therefore, of ethical decision-making.  Throughout the school-year, our school will focus on each pillar through activities and wearing the color of the month on Mondays.
