Un poquito sobre mí
Es mi primer año en Arovista y estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra de 5to grado inmersión dual. He ensañado Kinder, primer, y cuarto grado inmersión dual. Mis raíces son de Latino America. Mi papá es de Perú y my mamá es de México. Me identifico con las dos culturas de mis padres porque crecí en un ambiente donde estuve expuesta a las costumbres, tradiciones, comida, y el idioma de ambos padres. El Español fue mi primer idioma y aprendí hablar Inglés en la primaria cuando era una niña. Cuando era joven, empece a trabajar en una escuela secundaria como una asistente de maestro y allí es donde empezó mi amor por la educación.
A little about me
It is my first year at Arovista and I am very excited to be the 5th grade dual immersion teacher. I have taught Kinder, first, and fourth grade dual immersion. I have Latin American roots. My father is from Peru and my mother is from Mexico. I identify with both my parent's culture because I grew up in an environment where I was exposed to the customs, traditions, food, and language from both parents. Spanish was my first language and I learned to speak English in primary school when I was a little girl. When I was younger, I worked as a teacher's aide at a high school and that is when my love for teaching began.
