Please check out arbookfind.com to learn about the reading levels of books that you have at home. You may enter any title and the website will tell you its exact reading level. This is helpful for choosing books within your child's independent reading range. If a book is above your child's range, consider using it as a "read-aloud" for your child. Reading aloud models good fluency and fosters a love of reading. If you are new to interpreting AR levels, the numbers work like this: 3.4 stands for 3rd grade, 4th month of school; 2.8 stands for 2nd grade, 8th month of school.
